Summer time and the Pickle is easy
The first full month has gone surprisingly well, we have had loads of great comments, some people genuinely moved with what they see, which makes us feel we have done something right.
During June we also had a food stall at the Bournemouth Collegiate School to raise money for the fantastic local charity Julia’s House. It was a mini arts festival which involved pupils showing their creative talents off in all forms, it really was impressive, so many talented kids, needless to say we all enjoyed our evening there.
We also enjoyed a team night out at the cinema, our friends at Jimmy’s Iced Coffee are currently hosting some classic films at the Regent Centre in Christchurch, so we all went along and had a good laugh.
Looking forward again to this month as we have a christening and a wedding to cater for, so it is all systems go organising them, the team love going off site to work these events, it’s good to have a change of scene and the settings for the weddings are always glorious.
We are working with JK Crafts to organise some art workshops at the café so starting to use the café for different types of events, keep an eye on the Facebook page for details of those and let the kids imaginations run wild.
We are also pleased to be invited to the Mudeford Arts Festival which is held the last weekend of the month.
The summer holidays are about to start and the kids are beyond excited about writing their holiday lists and ticking them off each week.
Happy holidays and let’s keep our fingers crossed the sun keeps shining..
